Build Homeschool Motivation with Wait Time

By Lily Iatridis  March 14, 2014

Coming up with a super cool hands-on project is always terrific for motivating your kids. But that's usually pretty time consuming, and we don't always have a lot of that to spare.

On the other hand, there are a number of easy-to-use teaching strategies that can make a big difference in your kids' motivation for school on a daily basis.

The one I'm going to tell you about in today's video is called wait time. If you don't know about wait time, be sure to take 2 minutes to watch the video below. Consistently using this easy technique with your kids will make a big difference!

The hardest part is remembering to use wait time every time you ask a question.

If you have any questions, comments, or other topics you'd like me to cover in future videos, feel free to send me an email or post a comment below. I'd love to hear from you!
