Homeschooling: How to Inspire Kids to Do Their Best

What are your beliefs around what your kids can or can't do when you're homeschooling? Do you pay attention to how you communicate those beliefs?

It's so easy to get into the habit of interacting with your kids in small ways that just aren't productive. You might immediately forget that offhand remark about their not being good at something, but it can stick with them for decades.

When kids don't believe in their abilities, you can rest assured they won't be motivated to try hard when it comes to their school work. They'll probably do whatever they can to avoid it!
